Lovely Day

We had a lie in on Sunday for the first time in ages, I think we both needed the extra sleep after the long day on Saturday. The sun was beaming down and the temperature was rising quickly so we had the fan on during the morning for the first time this year. In the afternoon, we visited Grandma at Chesterfield Hospital, it took some finding but we got there in the end. Grandma never stopped laughing the hole time we were there, if I didn't know better I would have sworn she'd been at the sherry ..lol.. She's had the whole ward in stiches while she's been in there and the nurses have certainly got there hands full! We should find out today if she's having a hip replacement straight away or sometime in the future.

On the way home we took a wrong turn which took us out into the countryside and past Bolsover Castle. It's looks very nice round there so I think we'll pop down again for a proper look round. The plans to have a bbq were dropped, it was just too hot outside to be messing about so we had some chicken and salad instead. We were on the computer most of the night, which is unusual for us, we normally just have an hour on there at most. With the bicardi and lager going down a treat we both a thoroughly good night in, reading blogs and chatting on msn. We've got that site referral thingy on here now so we can see where people are coming from and we noticed some were missing from our blog roll, if there is anyone out there linking to us that we don't know about, let us know and we'd be delighted to link back to you.

This morning it's very hot, even at this early hour, we had the fan on at home and now I've got the air con going in the office which will take the edge of the heat but it never gets that cool in here. It's forecast to be the hottest day of the year so far, it's going to be torture!
