Luckily we kept Blogger comments going as well so we haven't lost every comment but people do seem to prefer to comment on Haloscan so we've lost most of them.
Well, we're not being held to ransom and as soon as I have the time, the Haloscan system will be no more on this blog. If you would like to leave a comment today, please use Blogger comments, otherwise it might be gone by tea time!

Lucky that Blogger have improved their gomments. It seems a lot more user-friendly now.
Maybe you should consider using a better blogging resource such as Wordpress ?
where you would not have such issues.
But then you need your own hosting which not everyone wish to do.
We'd like to keep it simple with blogger at the moment Joss although we have thought about hosting it ourselves before. It's lucky, as Jenny says, that blogger comments are much better than they used to be.
