With the onset of the cold weather the autumn colours are really starting to come through. This was the scene just before the cold weather arrived, trees stubbornly hanging on to their summer look.
Just a few days later and what a difference, all the trees around are suddenly golden brown.
We only had our first frost of the season yesterday and this morning it really has taken hold, turning everything white.
All we need now is some ssssnnnnoooowwww!
Paul.

I love the colors of our fall in Oregon. We always have so much green because of our rain and then when you match the fall colors with all that green it is a sight to behold! We only get snow every few years here in Albany, Oregon where I live, but it is always a short drive from Albany ... to play in the snow in Oregon.
I have snow... I'll try and blow some across the pond :)
If you have an email address that will accept large attachments, I can send you my photostory of photos we took last Christmas day in north Wales - at least you'll have something to keep you going while waiting for the real thing. :)
Thanks Jennifer, Paulie is convinced we are having snow on friday....the bets are on...lol...Jenny would love to see your pics of wales, we will send you our email add..
Debbie & Paulie.x.

Hi there
I'm another Yorkshire blogger - we seem to be multiplying !
Beautiful photos and by the sounds of things I think that snow you're after is on its way. Just in time for the St Nicholas Fair here in York.
