And So Back To Work

All the decorations came down yesterday, the living room looks so bare and now we've moved the computer into the dining room and pushed the sofa back, the room looks twice the size as well.

With all the clutter out of the way, the gaps in the wallpaper where the old stairs used to be are clearly visible, looks like another job that one. Debbie's also pulled a piece of wallpaper off on the fireplace, it's a kind of subtle hint!

We've been back at work today, it's always mad the first day back after the yuletide break and today was no exception, it's been good to get home and rejoice in the fact that we don't need to do the shuffle dance from the sofa round the coffee table to get to the stairs any more.

Even better, we won't be seeing Lucy launching herself off the back of the sofa to cut out half the stairs altogether, tonight she's settled on her favourite sport, trying to bury half a biscuit in her bed, the fact that it's impossible never seems to get in the way lol.

Hello Paul -- nice to meet all of you. I've been back to work for a few days now, though the bulk of the staff is still on holiday. It makes the transition quite tolerable to be able to blog for a bit from the office, and read about such things as sweet dogs trying to bury half biscuits in their beds. : )

Have a lovely Thursday.

It's always a drag for me to get back to normal after the holidays, but I'm actually looking forward to it this year.

Yes, it's a bit of an inconvenience, the back to work thing.

Just been reading your comment on bogbumper. Hope the garden birds pick up for you. If your regularly putting out food it's just a matter of time once the weather gets a bit colder.

Happy New Year to you both!
I've got the New Year blues, it's because I start back at work on Tuesday. Okay so I've had a long break but the longer the break, the more you don't feel like going back.

Take care,
Mandy
