Sandsend In Black n White

We had a fantastic day at Sandsend yesterday, we managed to set off early, car packed with the essentials eg: Lucy, Paul, cameras, butties and most important COFFEE!!

Arriving early was fantastic, we were greeted with an almost empty beech, it was quite blustery, but very very enjoyable :o)

We have never been to Sandsend before but we will definatley be doing back with a hammer as there is lots of fosiles to dig for.

Wentworth Castle & Gardens

We had a complementary visit to Wentworth Castle & Gardens yesterday, courtesy of Toyota. The weather was fantastic for mid October, all the wonderful colours of Autumn but feeling more like late Summer.

Spooky Moon

We had a very spooky moon overlooking the garden last night, it was eerie watching as the clouds floated by in the moonlight.

Enjoyed some early Autumn sunshine in the garden over the weekend, still loads of colour, it'll be a few weeks yet before we can start clearing the flower beds before the onset of Winter.
