On Saturday that plan was to go to Tropical World in Leeds to get some shots of butterflies, this was because the weather forecast for the weekend was for rain all day. We awoke very early to be greeted by sunshine and the new weather forecast was completely differing, sunshine all day!
So we decided to go with an earlier plan, back to Flamborough for a proper look after a brief visit earlier in the year.
We set off walking from the North Landing hoping to make it all the way to Bempton but with the scorching heat and the heavy going, we eventually gave up and made our way back. Rather walking along the cliffs on the other side of the bay as last time, we made our way down a very steep hill to the beach and explored the cliffs and rocks sea level.
Below are a selection of images we captured from this beautiful stretch of the Yorkshire Coast.

Lovely views by the look of it. Nice to get the occasional sunny day out. It would be better if the weather forecasters didn't keep changing their minds.
Lucy looks as though she had an interesting, if hot day out.
