What to do??

Here we are again....WEEKEND.....YIPPEE

I had a very stressful week at work, we have to run by some strict deadlines, I think everyone was feeling the pressure in our office, we had to have a meeting on Thursday morning so we could all air ours views....lets see what happens next...There was some good news, a friend of mine came for an interview yesterday and got the job and starts with us on Wednesday....

We are having a rethink about our wedding at the mo, we are still getting married and we are still have a right good party at nite time, but due to the fact that most of my family wont be attending, we can not see the point in having a half empty church and paying loads for a meal that no one will be eating....the only problem is that as soon as we change our minds and make new arrangements then we will get replies from people who would not be attending...its sods law....think we are just going to make a decesion and stand by it this time...

We have just had a mega breakfast of good old british bacon and eggs, and waiting for me coffee to arrive, Hint Hint Paul...lol...Now we are deciding what to do, either stay at home and do some jobs (not our stong point) or bugger off for the day with Lucy and Harvey, think the latter is going to win this one.

Bungie Rabbit 2003-2004. Posted by Hello

Gone to Bunny Heaven

We checked on Bungie rabbit when we got home last night and he'd still hardly eaten anything. We think it could have been shock from the thunderstorm earlier in the week.

Taking it in turns to nurse him we managed to get him to have some water and he did seem to perk up a little bit. I got the cat's carrier ready to put him in for a trip to the vets but before we could go anywhere he peacefully passed away in our arms. He was a lovely bunny and will be missed by us all.

Wet Wet Wet

I cleaned out Bungie's hutch last yesterday, he's been looking a little bit down in the dumps for the last couple of days so we've got him some different rabbit food. He does seem to get bored with it if we give him the same kind all the time but up until Monday he was always emptying his bowl and on Tuesday he hardly touched it. We'll keep a close eye on him over the coming days and see if he chirps up a bit with this new food.

After tea last night, we went over to the field with the dogs and the buggy, after the thunderstorm on Tuesday night it was still a bit damp and muddy in places and I had to keep lifting the buggy up to get past the puddles. When we got to an open area of gravel we had some fun racing it around, sliding round corners and doing doughnuts. My poor little buggy is now covered in mud and needs a really good clean. I think in future, if it's not been dry for a while, we'll stick to driving on tarmac, there is a disused tennis court in the local park which would be ideal.

It's back to school for the housemates in Big Brother, mildly entertaining watching them singing hymns and smoking behind the bike shed. Since the departure of Marco last week, they're all getting on too well and it's not making very good viewing. The knives do seem to be out for Becki but only because she was the last to arrive in the house. After tipping Michelle to be evicted last week, I'm going for Becki this week, so it we'll probably be Ahmed who's shown the door.

The weather forecast for last night and today was spot on, heavy rain and lots of it. We got soaked going out to the cars this morning and the drive on the motorway was a bit hairy at time with visibility going down to virtually nothing. Debbie called to let me know she'd got to work OK and apparently it was just as bad on the A roads with the occasional nutter driving way to fast for the conditions. I had to laugh this morning watching GMTV, they had reporters all over the county covering the this big weather story, I think they forgot that we're in England, it's summer time and it's raining, it's not exactly unexpected.

Thunderstorm

Neither of us are feeling to clever at the moment, Debbie's still trying to get rid of her cold and I've still got tooth/jaw/ear ache following the trip to the dentist last week. I gave the buggy another run last night after finding some new batteries in a drawer. I was surprised the neighbours didn't come out to complain, having said that, I don't think it was all that loud. At lunch time I'll be off to get some re-chargeable batteries and tonight we might be going on over to the fields with the dogs depending on the weather. I've checked the forecast and heavy rain is on the way, hopefully it'll hold of until after dark.

I've just been speaking to the cleaners here and apparently we had a big thunderstorm last night with huge hail stones. We didn't hear anything, as soon as Big Brother had finished we were out like a light. I think we could both do with a right good afternoon kip at the weekend ...yawn...

AAAGGGGHHHH!!!

We are having problems with our Blogger at the mo, everything is taking five or six attempts to open and uploading anything is a nitemare.....Is anyone else having these problems, or is it just snowbabies that have got the boogie man on the pc??

I have put some piccies on that i took on sunday afternoon, hope you like them....

Does anyone have any cures for blocked ears after a cold, I am totally deaf and all is propper fuzzy when people speak to me, I must look a right nit saying "PARDON" at least fifty times a day and getting propper annoyed with Paul as he talks quiet as a mouse normally...lol...

Till next time
